The Jewish Museum Trondheim operates according to a carefully developed Collection Management Plan that defines how the museum's objects and archives are to be handled. The plan includes guidelines for collection, documentation, digitization, preservation, and – when necessary – disposal, in line with international standards for museum work.

The museum has its own Collection Management Plan that describes the guidelines for collection, documentation, preservation and disposal in line with international museum standards.

This is what we stand for
As a museum for a national minority, we strive for quality, accessibility, collaboration and continuous innovation in everything we do. We shall be relevant, timely, inclusive and respectful in all aspects of our work. These values guide us in fulfilling our mandate in a meaningful and sustainable way.
Behind every preserved memory lies a plan – careful, cautious and written for the future.
Collection Management Plan
The past secured for the future.
The aim of the plan is to ensure the long-term preservation of the collections and to ensure that management is carried out systematically, ethically and with respect for the cultural significance of the objects. The plan is also a practical tool that helps the museum's staff make informed decisions in their daily work, and it forms an important part of the museum's overall strategy for responsible collection management.
