Jewish Museum Trondheim is committed to making its website accessible to all users, regardless of functional ability, age, language skills or technical equipment.
This website follows the guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at AA level, in line with the requirements of the Regulation on Universal Design of ICT Solutions (§ 5). We have chosen WCAG 2.2 as the basis for our accessibility work because it represents the current international standard and provides more precise requirements for usability and accessibility.
What does this mean in practice?

Contrasts and typography are adapted for good readability.
The navigation is logical, predictable, and consistent across all pages.
Image and media content have alt texts or text alternatives.
Forms, buttons, and interactive elements are labeled and accessible.
Content and structure have been tested for understandability and flexibility.
Work with accessibility
We have followed WCAG 2.2 in design, content and technical development, and have made thorough assessments related to contrasts, readability, link logic, semantic structure and interaction patterns. The website has been tested manually and with automated tools.
