Opening hours

In order to be able to offer you a good museum offer also in the summer, we have two seasons with different opening hours.

Low season (August 1 – June 14)

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 12:00–15:00

  • Sunday: 12:00–16:00
    (Closed some days – see News and Updates for details)

High season (June 15 – July 31)

  • Mon–Fri: 10:00–16:00

  • Sunday: 12:00–16:00

Tickets and Prices

Buy tickets at the entrance, via Vipps or card. We offer discounts for children, students and groups.

Adults: 120,- NOK
Honorarium: 70,- NOK
Students: 70,- NOK
Youth 11-17 years: 70,- NOK
Children 0-10 years: Free

Companion certificates are accepted.

The synagogue is closed during guided tours. To see the synagogue during these times, you can join the guided tours.

Availability

We want all visitors to get the best possible experience from the museum.

Disabled

The synagogue on the second floor is accessible via stairs and elevator, the exhibition in the basement has limited accessibility due to stairs. The elevator only goes from the first to the second floor. Good accessibility on the first floor, where the exhibitions "Homecoming" and "Home. Away. Holocaust in Trondheim" are located. There is also good accessibility on the second floor with the synagogue.


Hearing impaired

The exhibitions contain no sound effects, only written and visual material. Unfortunately, our regular tours are not specifically adapted for the hearing impaired. A telecoil has been installed on the first and second floors of the building.


Visually impaired

Unfortunately, our exhibitions and regular tours are not adapted for the visually impaired. Please contact us in advance for an adapted tour.

Please note that the floor in the basement exhibition is partially paved, and therefore particularly uneven.
