The museum's interview collections consist of audio and video recordings with contemporary witnesses, descendants and professionals, and cover a wide range of topics related to Norwegian-Jewish life and history. Everything from upbringing, traditions and family structures to experiences of discrimination, flight and belonging in the post-war period is documented. The collection also includes conversations about identity, everyday life, faith, work and social participation, seen through the eyes of those who have lived history.

We have conducted interviews with contemporary witnesses, descendants and professionals who shed light on a wide variety of topics related to Norwegian-Jewish life and history. These audio and video recordings are an important source of personal history and oral traditions.

Through these personal stories, it becomes possible to understand the human aspects of historical events and social changes. The interviews provide valuable insight into minority experiences, and serve as an important source of oral tradition and experiential knowledge.
