Eirik Wicklund

Eirik Wicklund is an important part of the team at the Jewish Museum Trondheim. He has a broad academic background from NTNU , with bachelor's degrees in both religious studies and musicology , in addition to practical-pedagogical education and a year's study in Nordic . This interdisciplinary combination gives Eirik a unique ability to connect history, language, culture and people's experiences in his daily work with the museum's exhibitions and public activities.

With a keen interest in how faith, tradition and societal development shape individuals and communities, Eirik is passionate about making history come alive and relevant to today's audience. His warm demeanor and genuine curiosity make him a natural bridge builder between the museum's collections and visitors of all ages.

When he is not communicating Norwegian-Jewish history at the museum, Eirik enjoys spending time on music, language, and exploring new connections between culture and storytelling.
