Safety procedures when visiting schools
The Jewish Museum Trondheim follows safety procedures when using the building, and some are directly related to school visits.
Upon arrival
We ask that you do not have a meeting point right outside the entrance to the building. Alternative meeting points can be in the parking lot at Prinsen cinema, or in Ytre Kongsgård. You can come to the door a few minutes before the agreed time to be cleared through the security check. If you arrive earlier than agreed, you can contact the guard, and we will see if we can let you in earlier.
During city walks, you will meet the facilitator at one of the above locations, or at another location by arrangement.
School bags, bags and the like
There are strict rules for bringing bags, backpacks, etc. through security check. We therefore recommend that you do not bring these into the museum, as far as possible.
If this is not possible, it will be possible to leave bags etc. in a lockable box outside the building. The key to the box will be given to you by the guard. Valuables such as a PC will be allowed into the building.
The routines may change continuously as needed. We will notify you in advance of your visit. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding the safety routines.

This is what we stand for
As a museum for a national minority, we strive for quality, accessibility, collaboration and continuous innovation in everything we do. We shall be relevant, timely, inclusive and respectful in all aspects of our work. These values guide us in fulfilling our mandate in a meaningful and sustainable way.
