The Jewish Museum Trondheim welcomes donations that can strengthen the documentation and understanding of Norwegian-Jewish history and culture. These may include objects, documents, photographs, letters or other material related to life and experiences in the Jewish community in Norway – especially in the Nordenfjell area and on Svalbard. All incoming material is assessed by the museum's admissions committee, which consists of professionals with expertise in collection management, conservation and contextual assessment. The committee decides whether the material fits into the museum's collection profile and how it should be handled further.

If you have objects, documents or other material that you believe may be of interest, please contact our intake committee. They will assess the relevance of new contributions and ensure proper handling.

This is what we stand for
As a museum for a national minority, we strive for quality, accessibility, collaboration and continuous innovation in everything we do. We shall be relevant, timely, inclusive and respectful in all aspects of our work. These values guide us in fulfilling our mandate in a meaningful and sustainable way.
Every object donated carries a story – and an opportunity to make memories lasting.
Would you like to donate something to us?
Join us in telling the stories.
If you are considering donating something to the museum, we encourage you to contact us in advance. We are happy to guide you and, if necessary, send you a short form where you can describe the object's background, condition and connection. All contributions are treated with respect and consideration - and become part of a larger whole that bridges the past and the future.
