Experience

To ensure optimal preservation conditions, the Jewish Museum Trondheim uses an advanced sensor-based monitoring system provided by Sensor Innovation. The system measures humidity, temperature and water ingress in storage and exhibition spaces, and warns before any damage occurs. The sensors are wireless, require little maintenance and have a battery life of up to 30 years. The measurements are collected in a digital control system that makes it possible to monitor conditions continuously, which is crucial to ensuring safe long-term storage of objects, documents and archival material.

Sensor-based Monitoring
of Humidity and Temperature

Norwegian-Jewish cultural heritage safely managed

The technology enables the museum to respond quickly to changes in climate or structural conditions, while helping to reduce costs, risks and environmental impact. With this solution, the museum strengthens its conservation work in line with international standards, demonstrating how modern technology and heritage management go hand in hand to protect what cannot be replaced.
