The exhibition is situated in the basement of the museum and was opened in 2002. It tells the story of the Jews in Trondheim from when they settled in the town in the latter part of the 1800s.

The exhibition tells of how the Jewish immigrants established and sustained themselves, their daily lives, solidarity and community together with religious practices and challenges. It also gives a picture of the integration into daily life in Trøndelag and how those who came after have consequently preserved their Jewish heritage and identity.
